the Yoshi Civil War was a war fought in january 2009 between the red yoshi principality and its dragonite allies on one side and the yoshi coalition (pink, green, blue and yellow) with its allies and pokemon on the other, that resulted in green, blue, yellow and pink dominance over entire island. In the paper mario process, this is called the Third Independence War. it began when the red yoshis left yoshi's story and invaded it's border brother paper mario! to toad town it's was a blunt violation of paper mario's territorial sovereignty plus their invasion of goomba village has violated of the 2001 romulan peace treaty. the Yoshi coalition and the multi-national and multi-galactic peace keeping forces was enough to eject the red yoshis from paper mario territory.
